Greetings!
I’m Mistress Maddalena Jessamyn di Piemonte, and I’ve been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for over 20 years. During those years, I’ve been a subject of the kingdoms of Calontir, the Middle, Ansteorra, and now Atlantia. My favorite thing to do is to research (and make) historic costumes. Although I’ve explored clothing belonging to many different countries and time periods, my favorite place is medieval and renaissance Spain. Unfortunately, research on the costume of Spain is often hard to find, so these web pages are an attempt to share at least some of the information that I have gathered over the years. (Note: I only research Spain up to about 1530. After that, the informtion is easy to get, and I like a challenge!) I hope that you will find these pages useful.
